It comes complete with the Electric motors and the radio controlled equipment already installed. It is ready to fly as soon as you have it out of the box. All you need do is carefully read the instructions (you want to make sure you can land it!!), insert a set of Alkaline batteries into the transmitter and Field Charger, and connect the rechargeable Flight Battery. It's then ready to fly in 15 minutes. Chocks away. You can fly the plane for a period of approximately 10 minutes from one charge and flying this remote control toy couldn't be simpler. First choose a calm day and a large open space free from trees, buildings and especially people and pets - you don't want to bash some poor unsuspecting jogger on the bounce as you hurtle towards the ground!! Launch the model into the wind and allow the plane to climb to a safe height before turning. Then practice gentle turns by pulsing the transmitter stick until you gain confidence. Great fun!
The plane is inherently stable due to the twin engine system, all the control surfaces are pre-aligned so that the models can be simply steered by moving the transmitter left or right, driving one of the two powerful electric motors faster than the other. This makes the plane incredibly easy to control in comparison with traditional remote control planes. The great thing about the E.Z. Air remote control plane is that if you crash - as you are sure to do - then the durable foam body will usually enable it to recover more easily than the traditional RC planes which often obliterated as they spectacularly smashed into the ground.
